The Marriage Palace in Mtskheta is located directly opposite the famous Orthodox church of Svetitskhoveli. Mtskheta is an ancient, picturesque Georgian town, the first capital of Georgia and the cradle of Orthodoxy, situated just 30-40 minutes by car from Tbilisi.
Marriage registration applications must be submitted at least one working day in advance in Tbilisi, or you can authorize someone to do it on your behalf.
In this marriage hall, both Georgian citizens and foreigners can get married. The ceremony includes a state registration, featuring music, a ceremonial speech by the registrar in Georgian (our representative will translate into Russian or English), the exchange of rings, champagne, and a gift from the Justice House of Georgia. At the end of the signing, you can dance and, if desired, ride and take photos on horseback.
The town is steeped in history and offers wonderful views of the mountains and the confluence of two rivers near the Jvari Monastery, which was famously described in Mikhail Lermontov’s poem “Mtsyri.”
Georgia, Mtskheta – an amazing place for your wedding. Mtskheta is a photo opportunity at every turn, with a beautiful hall for marriage registration.
